RALLY WARRIOR
Chris Ingram’s journey is truly one-of-a-kind, characterised by a relentless pursuit of victory, gritty determination, and resilience that defines his mark in the motorsport world. From humble beginnings, Born in Manchester on July 7, 1994, his rallying passion ignited at the age of 10 when he attended his first rally in the UK forests. His passion for the sport led him to become the first in his family blood line to forge a career in Rally Driving. He started at just 15, and by the age of 16, he had already clinched his inaugural championship, signalling his undeniable potential.
In 2019, Chris etched his name in British sporting history by breaking a 52-year drought and securing the FIA European Rally Championship. Despite a very limited budget and supported by a crowdfunding campaign supported by 500 contributors, Chris defied the odds to win the title on the final stage of the final event at Rally Hungary.
For Chris, this reinforced his unshakeable belief that he can become a title contender for the World Rally Championship in the future and the European title was just the beginning of the story.
However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly halted his momentum for two seasons. Faced with adversity, with his ‘never give up’ attitude, he rebuilt himself and is now back, delivering his best performances yet as a competitor in the FIA World Rally Championship WRC2.
His narrative extends beyond the podium, encompassing roles as a race and rally driver coach, a TV and film driver, and a devoted ambassador for his partners. Beyond the high-speed world of motorsport, Chris navigates the twists and turns of an exciting business venture. His journey is a testament to passion, resilience, and self-belief.
For 2024, his focus remains on unleashing his full potential in the World Rally Championship WRC2 in order to secure a manufacturer-supported drive.
Chris has 1 goal, to become the World Rally Champion.
