Rally Warrior Young Driver Academy

Current World Rally Championship competitor and former Former FIA European Rally Champion, Chris Ingram, will launch the Rally Warrior Young Driver Academy in 2023.

“I have received so much incredible support of the past seasons and feel It’s the right time to give back to the sport and support young British rally and racing drivers. I have launched the Rally Warrior Young Driver Academy for drivers who feel they need support and advice to further their career or pursue a career in Motorsport. Although the Academy days will be tailored for drivers, aspiring co-drivers or young people who are pursuing a career in Motorsport will also be more than welcome to attend.”

Rally Warrior will hold 3x Young Driver Academy days throughout the 2023 season around the UK.

The days will include;

• Introduction
• Driving tuition. 1-to-1 in-car coaching session in your rally car.
• Stage/track side coaching & video analysis.
• Driving simulator training.
• PR, Marketing, partnerships & sponsorships masterclass. (up-to 1 hr)
• Technical masterclass with a WRC engineer. (up-to 1 hr)
• Co-driver/Pacenote training masterclass session with a WRC co-driver. (1-2 hrs)
• Rental rally car availability for the day for young drivers with competition experience only (Price TBC).

• Event 1: February – North West England (Tarmac)
• Event 2: May – Mid-Wales (Gravel)
• Event 3: September/October – Location TBC*

The subsidised entry fee to attend each academy day will be as follows. Including venue, expert coaches and other costs (not including your own expenses or car running costs);

• Age 14-17 – £50
  
• Age 18-21 – £100
  
• Age 22-30 – £150

Rally Warrior will award one participant the “Star of the Future” Award and prize of;

• Full day 1-to-1 Coaching with Chris Ingram in your rally car.
• £1,000 prize.
• Attend a WRC pre-event test and ride in the WRC2 car.
• Rally Warrior Merchandise.
• Ongoing support.
