RALLYE ROYALE: Chris Ingram Rolls the Dice at Rallye Monte-Carlo 2024, Joined by H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco at his pre-season launch.

Monaco, Saturday 20th January 2024

Britain’s youngest FIA European Rally Champion, Chris Ingram, is poised to embark on a thrilling opportunity, competing in Rallye Monte Carlo with a latest-specification WRC2 car.

Widely recognised as the most prestigious rally in the world, Rallye Monte Carlo sets the stage for the exhilarating 2024 World Rally Championship.

This morning, the car’s unveiling took place in Monaco, draped in the distinctive red and white Monegasque colours, in the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, Jean-Victor Pastor, president of Suisscourtage Assurances, and Stephane Morandi of AS Monaco. Chris Ingram’s title sponsors for the season is the esteemed Monaco-based Suisscourtage Assurances.

“I am delighted to have partnered with Suisscourtage Assurances, part of the Monaco-based JV Pastor Group, for the thrilling season ahead. Their support provides me with vital insurance, allowing me to compete with peace of mind,” says Ingram.

Jean-Victor Pastor decided to sponsor Chris Ingram primarily because “he is both a great sportsman and a serial entrepreneur”. Suisscourtage adds: “This sponsorship marks the alliance between the world of sport and that of business, as do other initiatives by Jean-Victor Pastor, who is developing the practice of sport in his company with a coach and specific facilities, and is supporting sporting activities on various occasions.”

To meet the demands of top-level sport, Suisscourtage also offers a dedicated “OnlySport” insurance package.

This marks Ingram’s third Rallye Monte Carlo appearance. Despite facing technical failures in previous editions, including his gear-lever snapping on his debut mathematically robbing him of the WRC2 victory, Ingram remains optimistic for a change of fortune this time around for this third-time-lucky attempt.

Rallye Monte-Carlo, a roll of the dice in every sense, kicks off amidst the glittering lights of the iconic Casino Square on Thursday, January 25th. The four-day competition opens with two stages winding through challenging mountainous terrain near Gap at night, followed by two full days on Friday and Saturday, and finishes with three iconic stages on the way back to Monaco on Sunday for the podium finish.

“Last year I showed some of my career-best performances, but this is the biggest challenge. Monte-Carlo is the greatest and toughest rally; it’s the one I’ve always dreamed of winning. I’ll be dealing with new roads, a new car, and a new team, but my confidence is high, and my focus sharper than ever. I want to say a huge thanks to my loyal partners, supporters, and team. I will give it my all.”

Chris Ingram is supported by; Suisscourtage Assurances, JV Pastor Group, CarFinance247, Kroon Oil, P1 Racewear, Easywrite, David Appleby Engineering, Stilo, Nicky Grist Motorsport, CPASE Health Club, Monaco Broadcast.

Stay tuned for updates as more news on Chris Ingram’s 2024 season plans will be revealed post the Rallye Monte Carlo.
